PURPOSE:To obtain the drying device for UV cure coating which is reduced in size and improved in efficiency by adopting the constitution consisting in disposing an ultraviolet light source on the 1st focal axis of a reflecting mirror having an elliptical cylindrical shape and positioning a material to be coated on the 2nd focal axis. CONSTITUTION:The specular surface of the reflecting mirror 1 is formed on the inner peripheral surface of the mirror and has the elliptical cylindrical shape and, therefore, the ultraviolet rays projected from an ultraviolet light source 9 disposed on the 1st focal 2 axis of this specular surface is condensed to the 2nd focus 3 as shown in the figure. The outer peripheral surface of the material H to be coated is, therefore, condensed and irradiated with the ultraviolet rays projected from the UV light source 9 over entire area thereof if the material H is positioned on this 2nd focal 3 axis. The UV cure coating is thus powerfully dried and cured. |
