PURPOSE: To conduct a test and give repair service from the front part of a device by providing a third means for splicing the end part of one first optical fiber to the first end of one corresponding pig tail and a fourth means for splicing the end part of one second optical fiber to the second end of the corresponding pig tail. CONSTITUTION: A first means containing a cassette 42 for storing the second optical fiber 8 is arranged in a housing and a second means having a first division member 72 for storing the first optical fiber 4 and the plural pig tails is arranged in the surrounding body of a drawer. The third means containing a tray 106 for splicing the end part of the first optical fiber 4 to the first end of the corresponding pig tail 132 is arranged in the surrounding body. The fourth means containing a connector panel 116 for splicing the end part of the second optical fiber 8 to the second end of the corresponding pig tail 132 is arranged in the housing. The test of the optical fibers and maintenance repair service can be executed from the front part of the device.
