Imido-derivative peroxycarboxylic acids are herein disclosed, which have the formula I: (I) wherein R and R1, which may be equal to or different from one another, represent hydrogen atoms, alkyl groups or taken together with the carbon atoms to which they are linked, give arise to a cyclic aliphatic ring, all of them being optionally substituted; the symbol indicates a simple or olefinic bond; R2 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an OH group, and n : an integer different from O; the process for their preparation and their use as bleaching agents.
