NEW MATERIAL:A compound expressed by the formula (Pro is protein or polypeptide; X is amino modifying group; L is carboxyl-modifying group, having >=3 amino groups and linked carboxyl group of Pro with one of the amino groups through amino bond: r is an integer having the number of amino groups of Pro in a nonmodified state as the upper limit; t is an integer between an integer of 1 to the number of the carboxyl groups of Pro in the nonmodified state as the upper limit). USE:A carrier for hapten used for hapten antibody action. PREPARATION:Amino groups of proteins are blocked under mild conditions and carboxyl groups are then amidated with a polyamine. A hapten is subsequently bonded through the carboxyl groups thereof to the introduced amino groups to afford the objective modified substance. |
