<p>PURPOSE: To most suitably transmit optical energy through a connection part by providing base means for optical fibers, an elastic member and fixing/control means. CONSTITUTION: Respective holes receive holders 24 and 28 holding an image- forming lens and the optical fibers 12 and 14 related to the lenses in prescribed positions by using bosses 20 and 22 whose screws are cut and a pair of base boards 16 and 18 having the through holes in an axial direction. The lens holders 24 and 28 are detached from the base boards 16 and 18 and they can be connected again. The lens holders 24 and 28 have nuts 26 and 30 which can be adjusted to the bosses 20 and 22 of the base boards 16 and 18. The elastic member is sandwiched between the facing faces of the base boards 16 and 18. Two screws pass through the elastic member from one base board 16 or 18 and they connect the base boards 16 and 18. Thus, the inclination problem of an image-forming lens-type connector and the request of a strict permission error that the end parts of the optical fibers 12 and 14 are placed on the focuses of the lenses can be conquered.</p> |
