<p>PURPOSE:To feed a sufficient coolant from the optimum position by fitting to a nozzle device position by selecting a coolant nozzle in the shape optimum for the tool fitted to a main shaft from the coolant nozzles stored in a nozzle magazine. CONSTITUTION:What is of the shape optimum for a tool W fitted to a main shaft 5 is delivered to a nozzle delivery position P2 inside the respective coolant nozzle 6 stored in a nozzle magazine 7 by a magazine driving mechanism 8 at the work starting time, held by a nozzle changing means 9 and transferred to a nozzle fitting position P1. It is then fixed by a nozzle clamping means 10. In case of a tool being changed according to the progress of working, the coolant nozzle 6 fixed to the nozzle fitting device P1 is held by the nozzle changing means 9, returned to the nozzle delivery position P2 and stored in the nozzle magazine 7. The coolant nozzle 6 adaptive to a new tool is then delivered, transferred to the nozzle fitting position P1 by being held by the nozzle changing means 9 and fixed by a nozzle clamp means 10.</p> |
