PURPOSE: To properly align discs in a stack in a box by forming an abrasive material layer on a first surface of a backing on each circular abrasive disc of a continuous body, providing a device for engaging/disengaging the discs with/from a driving member on a second surface and forming tabs at both side edges of the discs. CONSTITUTION: Each abrasive disc 12 is cut from a pair of planar materials and is mounted on two sheets of adjacent discs 12 by two narrow tabs 20 along each edge at both the side edges. As this time, the two tabs are formed to be apart each other by at least about 0.32 cm along the edge and are further located to be equally apart from both the sides of a center line extending between the centers of the mounted discs 12 as a whole. These discs 12 are separated between the tabs 20. The tabs 20 are folded so as to arrange the discs 12 in the stack 26, and abrasive materials 16 each other of each disk 12 within the stack 26 and engaging/disengaging devices each other with/from a driving part confront each other.
