PURPOSE:To provide a high performance complex magnet of anisotropic polymer by mixing powder of sintered alloy with a specific composition chiefly containing Nd, Fe, B, subjecting it to a heat treatment, adding a polymer resin, and performing injection molding. CONSTITUTION:Powder of R2T14B type sintered substance (where R is rare earth elements incl. Y, and T transition metals) chiefly containing Nd, Fe, B is mixed with powder of RTB type alloy containing 45-98wt.% R with Nd, Fe, B as major components. This mixture is pulverized into a mean particle dia. of approx. 2mum and molded under a magnetic field of approx. 20kOe at a pressure of 1ton/cm<2> into a rectangle, which is held at 1030 deg.C for approx. 1hr under vacuum and then kept in Ar for approx. three hrs. to achieve a sintered substance. This rectangle is impregnated with epoxy resin and left at 90 deg.C for approx. three hrs, followed by hardening. Thus a high performance complex magnet of anisotropic polymer is obtained through unitization of the manufacturing process for conventional RTB type sintered magnet. |
