PURPOSE:To obtain high-quality images which are free from voids at the rear ends of halftone parts by combining a toner embedded with specific small particles and a resin-coated carrier having specific resistively. CONSTITUTION:The toner coated and embedded with the small particles essentially consisting of an org. high polymer material which has the softening point higher than the softening point of the base particles or has substantially no softening point and has the average grain size smaller than the average grain size of the base particles on the surface of the heat fixable base particles and the resin-coated carrier having 10<8> to 10<14>OMEGAcm resistivity under DC 1,000V impressed thereto are used in combination.
