PURPOSE:To obtain a crankshaft of excellent reliability and productivity, by dividing the crankshaft into simple parts and uniting these simple parts with tensile force and shearing force generatged by plastic deformation of metal. CONSTITUTION:A crankshaft is divided into a main crankshaft 1, disc-shaped web 2 and a crankpin 3. The web 2 has on its one surface the first recessed hol 21 of large contour fitting the main crankshaft 1 while on the other surface the second recessed hole 22 of snall contour formed in an eccentric position and fitting the crankpin 3. While the crankshaft, providing an annular W-groove 11, 31 on a surface, oppositely faced to the internal peripheral surface of each recessed hole 21, 22, in the root part of the main crankshaft 1 and the crankpin 3, forms an engagement protrusion 12, 32 by the W-groove in its intermediate part. And the crankshaft combines both the main crankshaft 1 and the crankpin 3 by forcing them to be fitted by pressure into the recessed holes 21, 22 of the web. |
