PURPOSE:To compensate the characteristics to a tracking shift in a reproduction mode of a magnetic head, by setting the gap parts of different azimuths with a prescribed distance secured between them. CONSTITUTION:The broken line parts 2 and 3' of a head 1' are set with a prescribed distance secured between them. The raw signal V0 has contrarily a swell for the recording and reproducing of the head 1'. Therefore the reproduced voltages are offset between PQ and PR when the reproduced voltage of the part 3' is added to that of the head 1'. Thus the reproduced voltage of the part 2 is not eliminated. As a result, the unevenness of the output characteristics is compensated for the main signal. |
