PURPOSE:To produce the system performing cooling air by utilizing the latent heat of the lumps of ice previously manufactured and stored in winter and the ice-lump machine used for said system. CONSTITUTION:A pipe 40 floating on the surface of water is arranged into a water tank 1, a large number of small holes 41 are bored to the lower surface, and bubbles are generated by a blower 42 and the freezing of the periphery of the edge of the water and adhesion to an inner wall of the ice of the surface of the water tank 1 are prevented. When the outside air drops up to 0 deg. or less, a pump 16, a motor 13 and a fan 7 are turned, and water in the water tank 1 is dropped onto the circumferential surface 5b of a rotary drum by a dropping machanism 6. Since the circumferential surface 5b is formed by a copper plate, etc. having excellent thermal conductivity and cooling pieces 14 are fitted onto the inner surface of the circumferential surface 5b, waterdrops 27 freeze on the circumferential surface 5b of the rotary drum, are scraped off by a scraper 8 with the revolution of the drum, fall into the water tank 1, and are stored and refrigerated. In summer, cold water in the water tank 1 of 2 cools air by a heat exchanger, and returns into the water tank 1, and cooling is repeatd by the latent heat of dissolution of the lumps of ice. |
