PURPOSE: To improve operability by providing a plurality of spring means and preventing the inadvertent movement from the neutral position of a shift bar, in a device for selectively operating a plurality of shift bars in a transmission shift assembly by the operation of a shift lever. CONSTITUTION: In a transmission 10, a plurality of shift bars 26 to 28 arranged parallel to one another penetrate a case 11 and extend in the longitudinal direction, and respective bars 26 to 28 are supported by front and rear bush blocks 30, 31 so as to be freely slid. Respective bars 26 to 28 are selectively operated by a shift lever 13. In this case, stepped holes (60 to 62) are formed in the direction perpendicular to the axes of respective bars 26 to 28 while penetrating the case 11, and a washer 66 and an interlock pin 68 collaborating with an interlock bracket 50 provided on the shift lever 13 side are fitted and mounted in the holes. The washer 66 is energized left by a first spring means 67, and the interlock pin 68 is energized right by a second spring means 72. |
