<p>PURPOSE:To produce an antibody having high specificity and low crossability by administering a specific copolymer bonded to a secondary antigen containing an antigen determining group structurally similar to a primary antigen at part except antigen determining group by covalent bond to a mammal. CONSTITUTION:A copolymer of D-glutamic acid and D-lysine bonded to a secondary antigen containing one or more antigen determining groups structurally similar to a primary antigen containing a desired antigen determining group at part except the antigen determining group by covalent bond is synthesized. The polymer is administered to a mammal, immune nonresponse effective against the secondary antigen is induced in the mammal, the mammal is immunized against the primary antigen to give a cell having desired antigen forming ability. The cell is separated from the mammal and cultured to give an antibody having high specificity to the primary antigen and low crossability to the second antigen.</p> |
