PURPOSE:To obtain a picture which is enlarged to the resolution of a displaying means while the quality of displayed characters are maintained by repeatedly designating the address of a preset raster during the course of successively designating rasters by means of the memory address generating means of a picture displaying device. CONSTITUTION:A memory address generation circuit 2 is composed of a raster set circuit 51 which is a raster means for repeatedly setting rasters and an address output circuit 52 which is an address outputting means for successively outputting addresses of rasters based on the output of the circuit 51. Then a picture to be displayed is enlarged without distortion in accordance with the resolution of a displaying panel by means of the memory address generating means 2 which repeatedly designates the address of a preset raster. Therefore, a clear picture is displayed and, at the same 4time, deterioration of the quality of displayed and, at the same time, deterioration of the quality of displayed characters can be prevented. |
