PURPOSE:To enable appropriate exchange of a plating liquid by detecting the deterioration degree of said gold plating liquid by the absorbance of a wavelength in a specific range by an absorptiometer. CONSTITUTION:Supposing that the deterioration of a gold plating liquid B is to be measured, when a visible light is radiated to the gold plating liquid B from a light source 3, a light among the visible light having a wavelength in a range 340-450nm is absorbed by a substance contained in the liquid B. The absorbed light is guided to a photoreceptor part of the absorptiometer 1 which analyzes the luminous intensity of the absorbed light. The absorbing degree of the gold plating liquid for every wavelength 340-450nm is analyzed by the absorptiometer 1. The data of the analysis is input to a detector 8 which informs the deterioration of the gold plating liquid B when the absorbing degree peculiar to the liquid B is reduced lower than a reference value. Accordingly, the deterioration degree of the plating liquid B can be measured in a reduced time and the liquid can be exchanged properly. |
