PURPOSE:To improve the low temp. fixability, hot offset resistance, preservable stability, film resistance, durability and positive charge controllability of the toner and to prevent the increase of fogging, the degradation of image densities and bleeding out of the toner by incorporating a styrene-acrylic copolymeer resin subjected to metal crosslinking and specific maleimide compd. therein. CONSTITUTION:The styrene-acrylic copolymer resin subjected to metal crosslinking and the maleimide compd. expressed by formula I are incorporated into the toner. In formula I, n denotes 1 to 3 integer; R denotes H or mono valent to trivalent alkyl, alkenyl, arom. or aliphat. org. group. The low temp. fixability, hot offset resistance and preservable stability are improved in this way and the generation of fine toner powder is obviated; therefore, the contami nation of a carrier and the photosensitive body is obviated. In addition, the generation of the bleeding out to stain the images by retransfer of the toner of a cleaning member to a heat roller is suppressed and the charge controllability of the toner is easily improved. |
