The invention relates to a cylinder for pressurised liquefied gases such as butane, propane and the like comprising a cylindrical skirt, an upper cap provided with means allowing liquefied gas to be taken from or loaded into the cylinder and a lower cap. This cylinder is characterised in that it includes a lower cap 10 which is inverted and penetrates partially into the lower end 13 of the cylindrical skirt 2 the lower edge 11 of which, resting on the outer perimeter 12 of the lower cap 10, is secured to the latter by a peripheral weld 17. The invention relates to the manufacture of pressurised liquefied gas cylinders particularly used for domestic purposes. <IMAGE>
