PURPOSE:To make overall design compact by keeping the required capacity of a starter motor small via the application of the predetermined low speed to a speed range for enabling an engine start, and mounting the aforesaid starter motor around a starting clutch mechanism connected to a crankshaft. CONSTITUTION:When a starter motor 16 is driven, pinions 43, 45 and 46, a driven gear 39 and another pinion 38 are decelerated in sequence and the rotation is transmitted to a large gear 33. In addition, constitution is so made that a crankshaft 22 is rotated via the first clutch and an internal combustion engine is started. Also, a starter wheel 30 is turned by pulling a knob and taking out a rope 29, and the rotation thereof is transmitted from the second clutch 36 to a large reduction gear 30. Furthermore, constitution is so made that the side of the crankshaft 22 is rotated from the first clutch 35 and the internal combustion engine is thereby started. Also, an ignition device and carburetor are improved in order to keep a good ignition performance at a low speed equal to 350rpm or below. |
