RESTORING METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR THE ERROR OF PROCESSOR

The system includes a control storage for storing instruction data having a code adapted to the detection and correction of check instruction data read from the control storage and to stop at least a part of a pipeline process immediately upon detection of an error. Another circuit is provided for correcting the error in the read instruction data and for rewriting the instruction data into the control storage while the part of the pipeline process is stopped. The system may recover an error of the control storage, detect an error at an early stage and the pipeline system can be interlocked at a stage before the instruction is carried out.
