PURPOSE:To allow the accompanying device to execute an expected automatic accompaniment by constituting said device so that an automatic chord progress control means designates successively a classification of a chord sound and a musical interval of a bass sound by interlocking with a read-out operation of a special rhythm pattern selected by a rhythm pattern control means. CONSTITUTION:Whenever a special rhythm pattern selected by a rhythm switch is read out of a rhythm pattern memory at the time of an automatic accompaniment, an automatic chord progress control means switches alternately and reads out regular chord progress data and special chord progress data from a chord progress memory by interlocking with its operation, and based on the chord progress data which is read out, a classification of a chord sound pronounced by a chord pattern and a musical interval pronounced by a bass pattern are designated successively. In such a way, an automatic accompaniment by a bass/chord accompaniment expected by a performer can be executed. |
