<p>PURPOSE:To shorten the response time by providing a sensor for sensing the approaching of a human body in the vicinity of an operation button of a video tape recorder and rotating a rotary drum under the floating state for a given period of time when the sensor is operated. CONSTITUTION:A cassette is inserted by the user, and when his hand approaches to an operation button part 2b of the video tape recorder (VTR) 2, a sensor signal is sent out by the human body sensor 3 to operate a timer 8. An output of the timer 8 is inputted to a loading mechanism driving control circuit 9, so that the unloading state is shifted to the full loading state. Simultaneously, a power source is supplied to a rotary drum driving control circuit 6 to operate a phase servo system and a speed control system, so as to maintain the standby state of waiting for a recording/reproducing command for a prescribed time. By this method, the response time is hence shortened.</p> |
