PURPOSE: To enable a granular color photographic developer to be fed into water without causing minute powder and to speed up dissolution by mixing specified 3 kinds of granules. CONSTITUTION: This developer comprises at least 3 kinds of separately granulated materials; (A) an antioxidant, (B) the developer, and (C) an alkali donor, and it is manufactured by separately granulating each to <=10μm grain diameter, subjecting each to aggregation treatment, and drying each, and then mixing them, and packing the mixture in a moisture-proof form. Hydroxyammonium sulfate and the like can be used for (A), and N,N-dialkyl-p-phenylenediamine and the like can be used for (B), and a mixture of 2 kinds of desired chemical reagent granules can be used for (C).
