The circuit for fine tracking at long time slow mode includes a controller for controlling the function of VCR, an one chip micro computer (2) for fine tracking at slow mode, comparators (CP1-CP4) providing slow tracking (ST) signal, still start position (SSP) signal, slow driving pulse (DD), and slow quit (SP) pulse to the controller and the one chip micro computer, a switching circuit (3) for controlling the output level of the comparators (CP1-CP4), and a driving circuit (5) for driving capstern motor according to the slow driving pulse.
