Arrangement for preventing pollution of a beach by incoming oil and for facilitating the management of such oil. The arrangement comprises a beach protector which is made of a flexible and oil-impermeable material and which is spread out over the beach and the sea bed immediately next to the beach. The beach protector comprises any chosen number of fabric sections 14 which can be spread out individually and coupled together and which are made of a water-permeable and combustible material. It is preferable that the fabric sections 14, after they have been laid out, can be coupled tightly together using zip fasteners 15, 16. <IMAGE> |
