Device for covering planted areas. The invention relates to a device with greenhouse effect for covering areas planted with climbing plants. It consists of a plastic sheath 1 into which uprights 2, which are prestressed at 4 and held by a head 3, are inserted. The action of the stress 4 on the uprights 2 imparts a geometric shape by reaction of the sheath 1. One or more inserts 5 are clipped onto the uprights 2. It also consists of a support 8 with twisted grooves, of an adaptor 10 for positioning along the support 8, of a shoe 14 and of a calliper 16 forming an adaptor for fixing onto a tubular frame 17 provided with connections 23 and with irrigation passages 19. The frame 17 is rotationally fixed by plain bearings 22 onto arms 21 which are rendered retractable by raising using racks 24. The device according to the invention is particularly intended for covering areas planted with market-gardening and ornamental plants. <IMAGE>
