PURPOSE: To provide a self-standing integrated assembly capable of being fitted in both axial directions by providing an annular outer race and a part extending inwardly in the radial direction with a gap from a sleeve fixed to an outer side thereof, and forming a thrust absorbing member extending outwardly in the radial direction from an annular inner race in the gap. CONSTITUTION: A flange 12 extending inwardly in the radial direction is formed on an annular outer race 10, and a flange 34 extending inwardly in the radial direction is formed on a sleeve 18 fixed to an outer surface 22 of the annular outer race 10. A thrust absorbing member 32 extending in a gap between the flanges 12, 34 is formed on an annular inner race 16, and the annular inner race 16 is fitted to a shaft 26 through press fitting or caulking. The thrust absorbing member 32 is brought into contact with the flange 12 or 34 and works as a thrust surface by the movement in the axial direction of the sleeve 18 and the annular outer race 10, and the fitting can be effected in any axial direction, realizing a self-standing integrated type. |
