PURPOSE:To prevent the rocking oscillation at the time of earthquake by providing a vertical spring member for supporting the weight of the material to be saved from the oscillation and a guide member for restricting the deformation of this spring member in the horizontal direction and for eliminating the restoring force of the spring in the vertical direction between the material to be saved from the oscillation and the base. CONSTITUTION:When the earthquake movement is input from a base 3, in the case that the shearing force in the horizontal direction working between friction members 5a, 5b is smaller than the statical friction force, a coil spring 4 and an elastic material 6 absorb the oscillation. When this shearing force becomes larger than the statical friction force, the slip is generated between the friction members 5a nd 5b, and the elastic material 6 prevents the sudden change of the force at the time of starting and stopping of the slip so as to reduce the high oscillation frequency component. The spring member 7 absorbs the oscillation in the vertical direction so as to reduce the response of the material to be saved from the from the oscillation in the vertical direction. and a resistance member 10 moves vertically in the viscous material 9 so as to absorb the energy of the oscillation in the vertical direction, and the guide member 8 not moving in the horizontal direction oscillates only in the vertical direction so ss to prevent the rocking of the material 1 to be saved from the oscillation. |
