PURPOSE:To soften efficiently the shock against all of the different external force by locating an air absorber function unit and a liquid absorber function unit in series in the working direction of the external force applied to an shock absorber. CONSTITUTION:When the external force is received by a connecting rod 13, at the first stage a piston 3 reciprocates in the cylinder main frame 1 against the elastic force of a return spring 9, and at the second stage a piston, which is not showed in the figure, in the appropriate liquid chamber reciprocates in the main frame casing 11 of a liquid absorber 10. For example, the small external force is absorbed by only the air absorber function of the first stage, and the lager external force is received softly by the small resistance of the air chamber at the initial stage of the shock, and further against the energy exceeding it, the kinetic energy is absorbed by the liquid absorber function with the stronger resistance force. |
