For the method of fixing roofing and ceiling webs of ECB, especially when combined with mechanical fixing, a double-sided adhesive strip consisting of styrene-butadiene-styrene bitumen is additionally applied in the region of mechanical fixing. This double-sided adhesive strip acts as a protective coat for the fixing panels and as an additional adhesive bond for the overlap. In this way stresses arising in the web are taken away from the weld seam, thus relieving the load on it. The sealing effect is consequently added to and doubled.
