Users such as data transmitters and data receivers can be connected to one another via a common bus. In the invention, the coupling to the bus is effected via bidirectional drivers (T1, T2) and direct-voltage isolating means (C1, C2; R11, R12). Each driver (T1, T2) is provided with a hysteresis circuit consisting of a voltage divider (R21, R31; R22, R32) for restoring the direct-voltage value.
