PURPOSE:To remove a plate cylinder and an ink pan from a printer in a short time by removing the cylinder and the pan in a state that the cylinder is placed on the pan at the time of replacement of the cylinder. CONSTITUTION:After the rotation of a plate cylinder 12 is stopped, a furnishing roller is retreated. The handle 82 of a truck 32 is rotated in this state to telescope a vertically movable shaft 56 into a supporting cylinder 54 to move down an ink pan 18. Here, a pair of plate cylinder placing bases 84 are placed on a side plate 18A, the handle 82 is operated again to raise the pan 18. After supporting rollers 92 disposed in the recesses 84C of the bases 84 are raised on the pan 18 up to the state in contact with the cylinder 12, tapered conical shafts 94 are separated from each other to remove from the tapered connecting hole 12A of the cylinder 12. Thus, the cylinder 12 is separated from a tapered conical shaft 94 to be placed on the pan 18 through the bases 84. The cylinder 12 is placed on the pan 18, and moved to a treating chamber by the truck 32. |
