<p>A press brake is provided with a support and release device (2), adapted to follow the movement of a sheet or the like to be bent during a press brake operation. A means (4) responsible for at least the movement of support device (2) during a bending operation is adapted to be controlled by means of a control element (11), mounted in connection with a movable bending tool (5) and following the movement thereof. The fulcrum of support device (2) comprises that edge (6'') of a slot-shaped bending tool (6) which faces said support device (2).</p> |
