PURPOSE:To reduce the labor required for editing the results of reading and to improve processing capacity by regenerating the digitized image data of a DNA pattern on a display. CONSTITUTION:An image of a DNA film 1 is read for each one line in the direction of the X axis by a one-dimensional image sensor 2. The data of this image are converted into a digital value for each pixel by an A/D conversion circuit 3 and inputted to an image data storage element 4. The whole film is read successively in this way. In an image recognizing-editing processing element 5, the position of existence of a band and the inclination thereof, as well as a DNA sequence, are determined on the basis of said image data, and the informations are outputted, together with the image data themselves, to a file. In the processing element 5, in addition, the image data are transformed into a tile pattern for one pixel and the DNA film image is edited. The edited image is converted into analog signals by a D/A conversion circuit 6 and displayed on an analog RGB display 7. At the same time with this display, a layout of a part being displayed currently is displayed. |
