PURPOSE:To obtain the image quality equal to the initial image quality even after continuous copying by coating the surface of a toner supplying member with a resin formed by crosslinking a copolymer contg. specific monomer components as polymn. components by an isocyanate compd. CONSTITUTION:At least the surface of the toner supplying member is coated with the resin formed by crosslinking the copolymer contg. the monomer expressed by formula I and the monomer expressed by formula II as the basic polymn. components by the isocyanate group. A bias of 0 to 500V positive potential is impressed from a toner transporting member to the toner supplying member. In formulas I, II, X, Y denote a hydrogen atom or halogen atom, R1 denotes a hydrogen atom or alkyl group; R2 denotes an alkylene group. The toner supplying member is coated with this resin, by which the surface energy thereof is decreased and the fusion of the toner is prevented; in addition, the stability of the triboelectrostatic charge of the toner with age and environment is improved. Abnormality is not admitted in the images even after continuous copying and the image quality equal to the initial image quality is obtd. in this way. |
