SILVER HALIDE COLOR PHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE MATERIAL

PURPOSE:To improve sharpness and graininess and to improve development processing stability by specifying the average grain size of the silver halide particles in respective photosensitive silver halide emulsion layers to <=0.5mum and incorporating specific compds. into at least one layer thereof. CONSTITUTION:The average grain size of the silver halide particles in the respective photosensitive silver halide emulsion layers of the silver halide color photographic sensitive material having photograph constituting layers including a red-sensitive layer, green-sensitive layer and blue-sensitive layer on a base is specified to <=0.5mum. Compds. which can scavenge the oxidation products of a developing agent or can release the precursors thereof by reacting with the above-mentioned oxides are incorporated into at least one layer of the photograph constituting layers. The sharpness and graininess of the images are improved in this way and the fluctuations in gradation by a change in developing time or by continuous processing are decreased. An effect of stabilizing a color development processing is obtd. as well.
