PURPOSE:To reduce the variation of recording density such as the shortage of recording density and the excess of toner, etc., by setting a toner supply means so that the toner may be supplied at high speed when the detection density is low and at low speed when the detection density is high corresponding to the detection density of a pattern density sensor.
