The invention specifies a pressure control valve which is composed of two sleeves (1, 2) and is combined with an air guide for air bubble massaging baths and comprises valve openings (2b) inserted in the inner sleeve and valve covers (3) elastically closing the openings. This valve opens at a dynamic pressure which is just below the harmful level for the engine, so that the latter is protected from overheating. At the same time, it may emit an acoustic signal for the user. By turning the two sleeves (1, 2) relative to one another, a transverse opening (2a) can be completely or partially covered by a gate (1a). The escaping air, by the magnitude of which the bubbling is diminished, is led towards the outside via outlet channels (2d) which are preferably filled with a sound-attenuating system (4). The component can be installed at the air ejection point of the blower, in the hose or in the air supply line of the mat.
