Archery bow disc springs in handgrip - are compressed when bowstring is pulled
摘要
The archery bow has a middle part (11) forming a handgrip with extensions (10) attached to each end and the bowstring being attached to the outer end of each extension. Each extension is attached to the handgrip by a bolt (6) which has a head with a tapped hole to receive a fixing screw (8). A stack of disc springs is fitted over the shank of the bolt and secured by a nut (4) and a locknut (5). The extension pivots on a bearing (1) which fits in a groove at the end of the handgrip. When the bowstring is extended the extensions pivot on the bearings so that the disc springs are compressed to provide the energy to shoot the arrow. USE - Archery.
