Endless chains (1) which run around upright drive wheels (2, 3) and between which there is fastened a metal plate (7) with aluminium trays (10, 11) fastened thereupon and bearing components (12). The intermittent circulation by means of the endless chains (1) takes place in such a way that the components (12) are transported from the inserting station (13) to the individual devices of the fluidised bed sintering installation and are subsequently conveyed back again to the inserting station (13). The charging and discharging station of the components (12) is located at the same point of the installation. All the devices of the installation apart from the inserting station (13) are accommodated in a climatically controllable housing (14) beneath an extraction hood (15) of large surface area.
