PURPOSE:To miniaturize and compact an equipment by dividing a floating bushing into some are pieces in radial planes including a shaft center and connecting these arc pieces at respective end edges in series with the arc piece inserted by one or more of ball. CONSTITUTION:A floating bushing 3 is divided into some arc pieces K, which have at least one or more of ball 6 and one or more of window 5 to contain each ball therein, in radial planes including a shaft center. A floating bushing comprises arc pieces K connected at the end edges in series. The windows 5 are arranged along the raceway surfaces 18 and 18 on which the balls roll. In this case, since the balls are brought into contact with the center arc line 8' of an arc surface sliding in rolling and there are spaces between the balls and gouging grooves 7 and 7, the friction resistance in the rolling of balls is only the above mentioned sliding friction resistance and rolling friction resistance. In addition, the wall thickness of the end edge of each piece K is to be made a little more thin than that of the center section. When a shaft A is rotated being loaded, the bushing 3 is pushed by the balls and rotated at half of the peripheral speed of the shaft A.
