PURPOSE:To shorten time required for processing a radiograph by processing a radiograph in a decentralizing manner during a period including a reading time and a period after radiograph is started to be reproduced. CONSTITUTION:Processing for obtaining data used for determining radiograph processing conditions from a read-out picture signal is carried out before radiograph information is reproduced after it is read out. Processing based on the data is performed after reproduction starts, and simultaneously other radiographs are processed during a reading period before they are started to be reproduced. Consequently, several types of radiograph processing, which are required for obtained for highly diagnostic radiograph images, can be carried out at different time. As a result, time required for reproducing and images is never prolonged owing to image processing, and a radiograph is reproduced in a short time. |
