PURPOSE:To increase an output by several dozen % by comparatively simple constitution by utilizing copper vapor laser beams having a wavelength of 578nm as excitation beams for a dye laser by spectrally diffracting copper vapor laser beams from a copper vapor laser device into the oscillation lines of a wavelength of 510nm and the wavelength of 578nm and separately supplying the oscillation stage and amplification stage of a dye laser device with the oscillation lines. CONSTITUTION:Copper vapor laser beams 201 are separated by a dye chroic mirror 12, and beams 202 having a wavelength 578nm are reflected and projected to an oscillation-stage dye cell 16 while beams 203 having a wavelength 510nm are reflected by a total reflection mirror 13 and projected to an amplification- stage dye cell 17. Beams having a specific wavelength are selected by an optical resonator 18 in beams emitted from the oscillation-stage dye cell 16 to which beams 202 having the wavelength of 578nm are projected, and dye laser beams 204 are emitted from the resonator 18 and projected to the amplification-stage dye cell 17. The dye laser beams 204 are amplified by the beams 203 having the wavelength of 510nm projected at the same time as the dye laser beams 204, and emitted to the outside as dye laser beams 205 having a high output. |
