PURPOSE:To obtain a film of high quality having excellent surface properties, no thickness spot, and excellent mechanical performance by employing a stationary mixing agitator at the inlet of a die to prepare the film from polymer liquid crystal. CONSTITUTION:A stationary mixing agitator is insert between a doping pipe and a slit die to make the flow of liquid crystal doping uniform. If this agitator is not employed, the thickness spot of the film is not reduced. The surface of the blade of the agitator is mirror-polished to be polished to 0.8S or less and more desirably 0.4S or less of Rmax. Since solidified film contains acid as it is, acid content is cleaned and removed as much as possible to manufacture a film having less decrease in the mechanical properties by heating. The obtained film has no thickness spot, excellent surface properties and satisfactory mechanical properties. |
