PURPOSE:To improve the reproducibility of printing images and dots by composing a silver halide emulsion of a specific silver chloride and incorporating a main developing agent into emulsion layers or other hydrophilic colloidal layers. CONSTITUTION:A negative type silver halide photographic sensitive material which has the silver halide emulsion layers on a base and contains the hydrazine deriv. expressed by the formula I in the emulsion layers or other hydrophilic colloidal layers is subjected to image exposing and is then processed by a developing soln. having <=pH11.2, by which hard black and white images having >=8 -G are formed thereon. The silver halide emulsion consists of the silver halide contg. >=70mol% Br and the developing agent is incorporated into the emulsion layers or other hydrophilic colloidal layers. In the formula I, R1 denotes an aliphat. group or arom. group; R2 denotes a hydrogen atom, alkyl group, etc., G1 denotes a carbonyl group, sulfonyl group, etc.; A1, A2 both denote a hydrogen atom or one thereof denotes a hydrogen atom and the other an alkyl sulfonyl group, etc. The reproducibility of the printing images and dots is improved in this way. |
