The invention specifies an apparatus for heating a greenhouse (G), in the case of which there is arranged, within the greenhouse and outside the same, a pipe system through which water flows and which comprises a heat-absorbing heat circuit and a heat-storing storage circuit. At least one pump (3) is fitted between the two circuits. In the heating circuit, at least one first interconnected pipe arrangement (5), which is arranged outside the greenhouse (G) at a point accessible to sun rays, is connected to the pipe system. In the storage circuit, at least one second interconnected pipe arrangement, which is arranged in the ground beneath the greenhouse (G), is connected, as ground store (9), to the pipe system and a third interconnected pipe arrangement, which is arranged in at least one water tank located within the greenhouse (G), is connected, as water store (10), to the pipe system. Between the pump (3) and the storage circuit, valves for the separate or joint connection of the water store (10) and of the ground store (9) to the heat circuit, or for the direct connection of the water store (10) to the ground store (9), are arranged in the pipe system. <IMAGE>
