<p>PURPOSE:To enable a starting of leakage of refrigerant from a refrigerant pipe to be detected at an early time by a method wherein a compressor discharging pipe temperature, i.e. a discharging temperature of CFC refrigerant from a compressor having a high response against a leakage is monitored. CONSTITUTION:As CFC refrigerant is leaked from a CFC refrigerant pipe 10, temperature of CFC refrigerant discharged from a compressor 3 is increased. Then, this increased temperature is detected by a temperature sensor 2. In this case, at a control part, since a difference of discharging pipe temperatures detected by the temperature sensor 2 between each of freezers is monitored, a leakage of CFC refrigerant is detected by this difference. That is, as CFC refrigerant starts to leak from any of the freezers 1, a CFC refrigerant discharging pipe temperature starts to increase. Thus, as the CFC refrigerant discharging pipe temperature is increased by a certain designated limit value than a temperature of another freezer 1, it is judged that CFC refrigerant is leaked from the pipe 9 and then the freezer 1 is stopped and the operation is changed over to a spare freezer 1.</p> |
