PURPOSE:To prevent water clogging due to an increase in slime in advance, and reduce the generation of water leakage and odor by bonding fixedly copper alloy foils on the bottom of a drain pan. CONSTITUTION:An indoor air is adapted to pass through an vaporizer 1 by a ventilation fan 2 as illustrated by the arrow. The humidity contained in the air is condensed in the vaporizer 1 and drain water is collected on a drain pan 3 and is discharged outdoors by way of a drain hose. A tape 4 of copper alloy foil is pasted on the bottom of a drain pan with an adhesive 5. The drain water which contains nourishment or the like condensed in the vaporizer 1 comes into contact with the copper alloy foil 4, pasted on the bottom of the drain pan 3, which is liable to elute out copper ions when flowing down the drain pan and elutes out the copper ions. The copper ions of low density contained in the drain water prevents the generation of agar-like slime, such as iron bacteria which take in the nourishment melted in the drain water by its preventive action against bacteria and algae. |
