<p>PURPOSE:To input position information at all points on a panel by providing transparent linear members between two transparent plates which are arranged opposite each other and have conductor layers provided on their internal surfaces and holding the linear members by a holding means. CONSTITUTION:This device is equipped with the two transparent plates 1 and 2 which are arranged opposite each other and have the conductor layers 12 and 13 on their internal surfaces, the transparent linear members 14 which are arranged between the two transparent plates 1 and 2 so as to isolate the two transparent plates 1 and 2 in a normal state, and the holding means 11 which holds the linear members 14 in a specific arrangement state. The linear members 14 having elasticity are incorporated between the two transparent plates 1 and 2, so linear members 14 at the periphery of a depression point move sideways by the elasticity of the linear members 14 and the inclination between the transparent plates 1 and 2 when the panel surface is pressed, so that the layers 12 and 13 of internal surface conductors contact each other. Consequently, secure position detection is performed at any points on the transparent plate 1.</p> |
