PURPOSE:To thin a battery by using a lead alloy laminated body in which a conductive layer showing electron conductivity when a solid phase reaction is caused by the contact with an anode active material PbO2 is integrated with a lead or lead alloy as a negative electrode active material. CONSTITUTION:Unit batteries 1 are connected in a series of two by alternately laminating an anode active material 2' composed of a lead dioxide layer mainly containing PbO2 and a lead alloy laminated body 10. The lead alloy laminated body 10 is an integrated material by integrating a lead or lead alloy 10' forming an oxygen ion conductive solid electrolyte layer 3' composed of PbOx by a solid phase reaction by the contact with lead dioxide, and a lead alloy 10 forming a conductive layer having electron conductivity by the solid phase reaction by the contact with lead dioxide. Thus, the conductive layer composed of PbOy functions as a connecting part for electrically connecting two unit batteries 1, 1, in series. Hence, a super-thin type layer built cell can be obtained. |
